Care Workers

We are looking for caring, compassionate, dedicated & reliable individuals to join our expanding team of Care Workers!

Position: Care Worker
Location: Surrey & Somerset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13 - £15 per hour

  • You will be supporting service users with medication, personal care, meal prep and light domestic duties. Care and support is provided within their own homes and helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will provide services in a way which will preserve our Service Users independence, dignity, privacy choice and rights. Willing to undertake care calls between the hours of 7am-9pm according to rota and allocated domiciliary/home care calls?
  • You will also be able to communicate at all levels effectively and be able to recognise changes in our Service User’s needs or any changes. As a Care Worker you will be able to show empathy to service users and have a level of initiative when working with Service Users autonomously
  • Good comprehension of the English language
  • Ability to recognise poor practice and report hazards
  • Ability to empathise with service users
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to work alone

International Applicants

  • Full Care Worker training
  • Accommodation for the first month in the UK
  • Provide personal care and support to Service Users as detailed in their Support Plan
  • Ensure you follow the requirements laid out in Service Users’ needs led Risk Assessment and Support Plans and ensuring that they live safely in their own homes
  • Prepare meals, ensuring a balanced diet, undertake household and cleaning tasks, social interaction and any other tasks as specified in their individual Support Plans
  • Develop good communication and effective working relationships with Service Users, their families, relatives and friends, representatives and all who use the service
  • Promote Service Users’ independence, while ensuring dignity, choice, and respect always
  • Dress appropriately for the post in accordance with the Company Dress Code
  • Willing to work within Service Users own home, accepting different environments and varying capabilities of our clients

Senior Care Workers

We are looking for Senior Care workers to join our growing Domiciliary care team. This is a senior care worker role that involves supporting and mentoring care staff team. You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle.

Position: Senior Care Worker
Location: Somerset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £13.50 - £16.50 per hour

Only individuals with experience in Domiciliary care experience will be considered

To ensure all Service User's visits are allocated to suitable Care Worker's and to maintain appropriate office procedures. The role will include managing the rostering and growth of a specified area within the business.

  • Have experience of scheduling rotas
  • Have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Have, or be willing to work towards your NVQ 5 in Health & Social Care and already have level 3 in place

International Applicants

  • Full Care Worker training
  • Accommodation for the first month in the UK
  • Provide quality care to our service users in their own homes
  • Provide support to Care Workers in delivering outstanding care
  • Work effectively with the senior management team including providing high quality feedback to the Assistant and Registered Manager
  • Process new service user referrals
  • Allocate Care Workers to all service user visits and ensuring all visits are always covered
  • Maintain Service User and Care Worker files and ensuring that they are always up to date
  • Ensure all other records are kept up to date
  • Work closely with the Assistant and Manager and the group of care workers and service users to build a strong team
  • Ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures
  • On call on a rota basis
  • Undertake Competency Checks, Spot Checks, Care Workers Observations, and training new members of staff where required in the community

You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our care services, coordinating schedules, and providing support to both clients and care staff.

  • To ensure any changes to service users or care workers’ needs and availability is communicated to all relevant parties effectively
  • To ensure complaints and care workers feedback and enquiries are logged promptly and accurately
  • To record all new care workers and service users on the system
  • Ability to identify and match the suitable care workers for each package
  • To monitor and record care workers holiday, sickness, and absences
